About Me
At the University of California, Santa Barbara, I graduated in 1989 with a BA degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Developmental Psychology. I completed my Masters in Social Work in 1992 from California State University, Sacramento and I received my LCSW license in 1998 from the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
I enjoy working with adults and adolescents and focus on helping the patient find his or her own solutions. I have a special interest in working with patients, adults and children, with diabetes and the related mental health issues surrounding this condition.
I serve as a Crisis Therapist in the Psychiatry Department and the Emergency Department.
The Crisis Team in the department of Psychiatry provides treatment and intervention for psychological emergencies. Our clinicians work on a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of MDs, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Marriage Family Therapists. We provide treatment and intervention at Sacramento Morse Avenue and Roseville Parkway out-patient clinics, the Roseville and Sacramento Emergency Departments and the Roseville and Sacramento in-patient medicine units.
