Welcome to My Home Page
I have practiced “full scope” family practice medicine in the past, meaning I used to deliver babies, do inpatient hospital work, and see pediatric and adolescent patients. However in my current role I work exclusively in the outpatient clinic setting with adults of all ages, both men and women. Beginning November 2007, I will be part of this facility’s family practice module, which means I will be able to see all ages of patients again like I used to.
Prior to coming to Northern California I practiced in Salem, Oregon, where I worked for Kaiser Permanente for five years. I most recently practiced in Southern California in Encinitas for a primary care medical group. My husband and I decided that we both wanted to work for Kaiser Permanente again because this is a health care organization that allows us to practice medicine in the best way we know how.
About Me
I was born in Boston and went to high school and college in Minnesota. I then moved to Arizona to thaw! I worked in Cardiology Research at the VA hospital in Tucson for a few years before starting medical school at the University of Arizona. I chose family practice as a specialty which led me to San Diego where I did my residency. During my residency I met my husband, Dr. Jesse Logan, who is a physician in our Women’s Health Department.
I have two young daughters so I am a busy working mother! I don't have much free time for myself these days, but when I do, I love to hike or ride a bike. I also love reading, usually novels. My favorite author is Isabel Allende. I also enjoy cooking and entertaining friends.
