My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am an internist. This means I am able to address complex medical issues in adults. I decided to become an internist because it provided challenges to me that are not available to me in other fields of medicine. It gives me a chance to think outside the box and come up with care plans that will benefit the patient.

My Practice Philosophy

Prevention is better than cure. I approach each patient with the want to educate them in order to prevent common medical issues. When issues arise, however, I work with the patient to come up with an effective care plan that is specially designed just for them.

My Tenure With Kaiser Permanente

I began my career with Kaiser Permanente in January 2007. Kaiser Permanente has a very integrated system. Wherever the patient goes the chart is readily available. When consults are needed they are returned quickly, making it easier to take care of my patients and address their needs. Overall, it allows me to put the patient first, which is extremely important.

I am happily married with two beautiful daughters. My life revolves around my family away from the office. I enjoy reading and gardening as a way to relax.
