Dr. Bhanu Bhaskar completed her medical education at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India in 2001. She received her residency at Brookdale Hospital in New York. She continued her residency training at Kaiser Santa Clara from 2003 to 2006, serving as Chief Resident from 2005 to 2006. Dr. Bhaskar received her board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2005.

In addition to English, she is fluent in Telugu and Hindi. Her medical interests include obesity management and cardiovascular risk factor modification.

When away from the clinic, she spends time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading and travel.
