In addition to all the routine shots you probably had as a child or teenager, you may need additional vaccines, depending on where you plan to travel.

• Make sure your Flu shot is up to date, no matter where you’re headed.
• Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for most people traveling to developing countries.
• The yellow fever vaccine is now required for travelers who plan to visit countries in South America and Africa where the disease is active.
