- How long will my appointment be? Your first appointment can last from 30-60 minutes depending upon your diagnosis. Your Physical Therapists can determine how long future appointments will be.
- How many times will I be returning? Your Physical Therapist should be able to give you an idea of how many follow up visits you will need after they complete their initial examination on you.
- What should I wear? Wearing clothes which easily exposes the area being evaluated would be helpful. Hospital gowns are available in the department if needed.
- Will there be a co-pay? That depends upon your coverage, but most health plans require a co-payment for every physical therapy visit. If you would like to know how much your co-payment would be before your physical therapy appointment you can contact your health plan representative, otherwise the receptionist can let you know at the time of registration for your physical therapy appointment.
- Is there any paperwork that needs to be filled out prior to my physical therapy appointment? No.
