Welcome to our library of online educational and instructional programs. These programs feature the same high quality information that you would receive during a traditional visit to one of our facilities but are offered here as web based presentations for the convenience of those who would prefer to learn via the internet from the comfort of their own homes or workplaces.
The ten programs listed below are intended for viewing by our patients who have been referred to them by their Kaiser Permanente clinicians. Programs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Created by Mahmoud Eltorai, M.D., Chief of GI medicine services, these videos will help you to better understand some common GI procedures and the preparation required for them: your flexible sigmoidoscopy; your colonoscopy; the “Colyte” bowel preparation; your upper endoscopy.
The Genetics of Breast and Ovarian Cancer – An Introduction
Hosted by Kelly L. Kirsten, M.S., genetics counselor, this program gives an overview of the role that genetics plays in these two types of cancer.

Shoulder Impingement
Hosted by three of our physical therapists (Manny Fajardo, Jeffrey Mitchell, and Julia Mann), this program features an explanation of the different stages of shoulder impingement and the treatments for each.
Headache Education Class
Featuring Dr. Richard Friederich, Child Neurologist. This program provides an understanding of chronic headaches and suggestions for how and when to treat.
