You should also sleep with your head elevated on two pillows for two nights. 2. Do not pick your nose or manipulate the small plastic tubing at the inner corner of your eye or inside your nose. If the tubing slips out onto your eye, tape it to the bridge of your nose and call the office. By no means should you cut the tubing. 3. YOU MAY EXPERIENCE SOME NASAL BLEEDING AFTER SURGERY. MOST BLEEDING IS NOT SEVERE AND WILL SUBSIDE SPONTANEOUSLY OR IS EASILY CONTROLLED BY PINCHING YOUR NOSTRILS FIRMLY FOR 15 MINUTES. If the bleeding persists call the office (916-614-4015) or come to the Emergency Department after regular office hours 4. Your sutures will be removed in 5-7 days and the plastic tubing will be removed in the office in 6-12 weeks. 5. In most cases normal activities can be resumed in 2-3 weeks
