My Practice Philosophy
I enjoy helping women take control of their general health and reproductive lives. I am particularly interested in preventive medicine, in educating women about everything from contraception to osteoporosis prevention. My job contains such variety: clinic, labor and delivery, and the operating room, all of which I love.
About Me
I was born right here at Kaiser Santa Clara. I attended Homestead High School in Cupertino, and then decided to try out the East Coast for college and medical school. In 1994, I received my undergraduate degree in English from Princeton University, where I met my husband. I graduated from medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 1998. I finally returned home to complete my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002. I am board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
My Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy activities ranging from raising my young daughter and puppy to hiking and backpacking, cooking, reading, traveling and gardening. Also, because I learned German and Japanese in school, I was able to pick up a fair amount of Spanish during my residency, and I enjoy practicing on anyone who will give me a chance!
I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, you may leave me a message at the above telephone number. Either, I, or my medical assistant, will return your call.
