Visitors Information

  • Labor and Delivery

Your husband, partner or other support person is encouraged to stay during the labor and birth.
You can have up to 2 visitors, 15 years of age or older.
If you are having a cesarean birth, only your husband or support person will be allowed into the operating room.
If you have any questions, check with your nurse.

  • Visitor to Mom/Baby

Visitors are limited to 2 at a time.
The father of the newborn is welcome to visit from 8.00 AM to 9.00PM.
Visiting hours for siblings, other family members, and friends are from 10.00 AM to 8.00PM.
All siblings must be accompanied by an adult. Children who are under the age of 15 and not a sibling, will have to wait in the waiting room.
Anyone with a cold, diarrhea, skin infections (such as a boil or rash), or who has recently been exposed to a contagious disease such as chicken pox, measles, or mumps should not visit.
All visitors must wash their hands before holding the baby.

  • Visitors to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Parents of the newborn are welcome to visit any time.
Other family members may visit WITH a parent of the newborn, from 10.00 AM to 8.00 PM, and only 2 visitors are allowed at a time.
For security reasons, ALL visitors to the NICU are required to sign in at the receptionist's desk .
For confidentiality reasons, all parents are asked to leave the NICU for a short time during shift report and rounds.
