My Philosophy of Care...

The first tenet of my philosophy of care is to care about my patient. Although I may encounter each patient’s ailments for only a short time in my office, I realize that it is an ever present stress in my patient’s daily life. Empathy is the first step towards being the doctor I want to be. A second tenet of my philosophy is to educate my patients with as much relevant information to enable them to make an informed decision. I believe in the patient being equally involved as the physician; much of what I do depends upon your diligence and personal investment. Another very important factor in my philosophy is to acknowledge how my career as a physician reflects my vision and purpose in life. I consider it a special blessing and privilege to be a physician with a responsibility to those I interact with. Continually striving for the fulfillment of these tenets will keep me living for the ideals that brought me into medicine.
