My philosophy of nursing is to provide comfort to those in need and to make the ill optimistic about their recovery.

I’ve been in many facets of nursing and felt that oncology was where I am most needed.

I have worked at Kaiser Permanente for four months and three months in the oncology department (a most professional and pleasant experience). I chose to work at Kaiser because when I interviewed they welcomed me with open arms.

I am interested in oncology nursing because I have had many people in my life affected by cancer. My affiliations are CNA, PICC line certification, and licensed RN Pennsylvania.

I was born in Pennsylvania and have family and friends there. I spend a lot of my time (at least 16 hours) a week on my gardens of roses, feverfew, Echinacea, herbs, weeds, etc., etc. Most of my friends are RN’s. I take road trips with my husband to see what can be seen.
