We have purchased a new skin rejuvenating system at the Cosmetic Center, called THERMAGE. I’m still getting used to the equipment, but I’m a fast learner and am ready to offer it to those who are good candidates. The technology is based on radiofrequency energy being delivered into the dermis thus causing tightening of the skin over a period of 6 months. Although the treatment is a bit slow, and the results take 2-4 months to appear, patients seem to love it. They like the fact there is no down time and it is safe for all skin types. I have always said it is the perfect treatment for those who just are not ready for a facelift. Certainly don’t forget the Botox and all the newest fillers for lines and wrinkles as well. We are currently using Zyplast, Cosmoplast, Hylaform Plus, Captique, Radiesse, and Sculptra. Each has its place and purpose so check them out.

I am working with IT to include pictures in my diary, so stay tuned. I love to share photos from trips with friends and family. We love to travel and have so many interesting experiences to share. Travel expands the mind and the soul. I always come back from a trip abroad realizing how lucky we are to live in the US but also what me are missing unless we get out there and are willing to immerse ourselves in other cultures and societies. Our upcoming trip in one week will be to Bali for over two weeks. I have been there before and absolutely love the island, its people, its culture, ceremonies and celebrations. This may be my last entry before I head off, but be prepared for lots of stories and photos. Be back in mid-September.
