Candy Duffina was born and raised in the Philippines, and she moved to the United States in 2002. She attended Southwestern University, in the Philippines, where she studied Hotel and Restaurant Management. Candy completed her Medical Assistant training program at Bryman College in February 2004. She is currently working at Kaiser Permanente in the Mountain View Medical Office Building as a Medical Assistant for the Department of Medicine. Candy rooms patient for her providers, takes vital signs, and performs EKGs. She always envisioned working for Kaiser Permanente, when she was studying to be a Medical Assistant because it is one of the biggest medical organizations in California.

Candy is married, and she has a 12 year old daughter named Candice. She is fluent in Tagalog. Candy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
