I have been an optician for over forty years, since I started working in a family optometry practice at fifteen years of age.

I attended Canada College in Redwood City to obtain my A.S. Degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing. I am certified in both optics and contact lenses, a prerequisite to join the Fellowship of National Academy of Opticianry. I maintain the above by regularly attending continuing education and staying current on new technologies.

I have worked in independent private optometric practices, as well as manager and California trainer for a large optical chain. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Oakland in 1988, and have been a manager at the Union City site since 2001.

My goal is to create a win-win scenario: having a successful optical by offering the best product at a reasonable cost and offering the best service in Northern California.
