Balance Class

Your physical therapist may schedule you in this class if you have a fear of falling, have recently fallen, have a history of falls, or your balance just isn't as good as it used to be. Learn the body's systems that affect your balance and how to improve them through static and dynamic balance exercises for standing and walking. Wear comfortable clothing and flat closed toe and closed heel shoes as you will be exercising. The class meets one time only on the second Monday of each month. You need to be able to get up out of a chair by yourself. It is okay if you use an assistive device for walking (such as a cane or a walker). Ask your Physical Therapist for more information.
