My Biography:
I was born and raised in Hong Kong and attended Pomona College where I received a B.A. in Zoology. I received my medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 1982 and completed my residency in internal medicine at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center from 1983 to 1985.
I've co-authored a chapter in a medical textbook, Cecil Textbook of Medicine, and am a member of the California Medical Association. I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1990 and was the Chief of Internal Medicine at Mountain View from 1997 to May of 2008. Having spent much of my childhood in Hong Kong, I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
I'm married with two children. During my leisure time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, jogging and jazzercise.
