Know the ABC's of Diabetes
Sometimes having diabetes may seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. The key is to focus your efforts on things you can do to help keep your diabetes in control. One way you can do this is to remember the three important aspects of diabetes control as the ABC's of Diabetes: A1C (Average blood sugar), Blood pressure and Cholesterol. With these three in control, you can prevent heart attacks, strokes and kidney disease! The table below gives a summary of targets for the ABC's of Diabetes.

| Cholesterol (LDL) | Keep your ‘bad’ cholesterol (LDL) below 100. |
