I was born in Viet Nam and immigrated to the United States with my family in 1980. We initially lived in Colorado before moving to the Sacramento area in 1988. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Bioengineering then received my medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. I then moved back to California to obtain my training in Dermatology at UC Davis Medical Center. Finally, I received my training in Mohs surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. I am Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. I am also an Associate of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family.
