This is one of my favorite parenting books. I found it enormously helpful in dealing with my own kids. I felt I understood my kids and myself better as I read it. When I hit a problem, I’d refer back to it. The authors give concrete suggestions as well as theoretical frameworks in a very “digestible” form. The “sequel” called Siblings Without Rivalry also helped me with many a parenting dilemma.
