Welcome to our Reach Out and Read web site. Reach Out and Read is a national program developed in the Boston area to promote reading and literacy. Here in the Rancho clinic we give a book to each child at each well child check-up from 6 months up to his or her entrance into kindergarten.

The Sacramento Public Library system has many activities to offer. Click on its link to find out about events in the library near you, literacy programs, and general information.
