Are You At Risk for Diabetes?

There are many risk factors which increase a person's chance of developing pre-diabetes and diabetes. These include a family history of diabetes, insulin resistance in the body, an inactive lifestyle and an unhealthy weight or body mass index of over 25. Body mass index (BMI) measures weight for height and provides a way to estimate the effect of weight on health.
