Hand dermatitis can be a very frustrating disease to control. The following recently released products have been shown to significantly help hand dermatitis when used appropriately. They all have similar "technology" but feel very different when applied to the skin. They all feel slightly greasy initially, but after 5 minutes they are absorbed nicely by the skin. One may work when another one didn't, so try a different one if the first one didn't work. Use one for a week or so before deciding if you like it or not.
Initially you will need to use the cream immediately after EVERY TIME you hands get wet (or even just sweaty, like after wearing gloves) - which may be 10 times per day or more. It is recommended that you put a tube or bottle of these by each sink and bathtub. After your hands have significantly improved you may only have to use it 2-3 times per day.
Theraseal is available at Sav-On, Longs and Rite-aid (if it is not there you can ask the pharmacist to order it for you.)
SBR-Lipocream is available at most Kaiser pharmacies and drug stores.
Gloves in a Bottle is available at Home Depot.
