Spouse and Significant Other Groups

Self-Help Groups
Self-help groups are a vital component in recovery from drugs and alcohol. For your convenience, groups are held in the same building as our Chemical Dependency Recovery Program. Although we provide rooms for the meetings, these groups are not affiliated with Kaiser Permanente and are open to all. Self-help meetings, as the name implies, were developed to help chemically dependent individuals help themselves in maintaining sobriety. Meetings are run by group members, not by professionals.
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings have a spiritual component and provide a structured series of steps to help people achieve and maintain sobriety.
- Alcoholics Anonymous -(510) 839-8900
- Narcotics Anonymous -(510) 444-4673
- LifeRing is a nonspiritual self-help recovery organization for persons seeking group support to achieve abstinence from alcohol and drugs. For more information, please call (510) 763-0779.
- Al-Anon is for family members who are affected by their loved one’s chemical dependence. For more information, please call (510) 276-2270.
