If I Need Medical Supplies, What Do I Do?

Is this equipment covered by Kaiser?
If your medical condition now requires you to have special equipment or supplies, some of them may be covered under your health insurance. Usually the covered items are large and costly, like a hospital bed or wheelchair. Whether or not the equipment you need is covered depends on your particular benefit package. Not all Kaiser members have the same benefit package. The benefits you have are based on the package chosen by you or your employer when you signed up.

Where can I purchase supplies?
For equipment and supplies that are not covered by your Kaiser insurance, there are local medical supply companies you can visit. Some drugstores carry medical supplies or you can look in the Yellow Pages.
