Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

1. Keep your head elevated 30-45 degrees.

2. Avoid any physical strain for 2-3 days.

3. If you have packs in your nose, do not remove them. You will have some drainage from your nose for a few days after surgery. Change your drip pad as needed.

4. Sneeze with your mouth open to avoid dislodging your packing.

5. Use the medications as directed. Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen, as these drugs can increase the risk of bleeding.

6. Keep your nose moist with nasal saline, which helps healing. You may spray the saline directly on the nasal packs.
