This Business Office handles and processes all in/out patient accounts receivable and billing services including disability claims and industrial, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Third Party Liability (TPL), blood services, screening members for Medical Financial Assistance, verifies/notifies admitting providers of insurance status of non-members at time of admission to the hospital and directs callers to the appropriate departments. The Business Office also has copies of blank State Disability forms for members, available on request. The above services are available at different locations throughout the San Francisco facilities; please refer to individual services for specifics.
