WELCOME TO OUR CLINIC

Audiology is a discipline dealing with ear-related problems. We work very closely with the Head and Neck Surgery Department and the Internal Medicine Department, providing hearing tests, evaluations of the middle and inner ear, and aural rehabilitation. We sell custom made earplugs for hearing protection, music, and swimming, and we also sell and dispense amplified stethoscopes, assistive listening devices and hearing aids. We are staffed by licensed dispensing audiologists who receive no sales commission on products they help you select.

ABOUT HEARING LOSS

Hearing loss affects more than 28 million people of all ages around the country. If you have hearing loss, a hearing aid may help you capture everyday sounds you are now missing and help eliminate frustration you feel when you can't catch all of a conversation.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
