Department description - 內科部

Doctors & allied health professionals in Internal Medicine - APC2.

OUR DEPARTMENT

Welcome to Internal Medicine APC - 2 Chinese Module. Our team of health care professionals provides primary and consultative medical care to adults, and is committed to meeting your health care needs.

Your personal physician or nurse practitioner works with a team of health care providers including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral medicine specialists, clinical health educators, and physical therapists. You can make an appointment with any of these clinicians without a referral. Team members are located in close proximity to one another, for your convenience.

We offer teams of bilingual (Spanish or Chinese-speaking) providers, as well as a team specializing in HIV. Programs are available for patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, high cholesterol, congestive heart failure, and diabetes.

Referrals to specialists are coordinated through your personal physician or nurse practitioner.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
