Welcome to the Department of Head and Neck Surgery
The Head & Neck Surgery Department is a surgical specialty department. It provides services to the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. HNS consists of the following sub-departments:
Head & Neck Surgery Clinic: provides diagnostic and treatment services to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures (Otorhinolaryngology). This clinic provides the following services: endoscopic sinus surgery, diagnosing & treatment of head and neck cancer, somnoplasty and botox clinics, laser laryngeal procedures, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored hearing aids.

Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic (regional service): provides evaluation & management of TMJ disorders, malocclusions associated with TMJ disorders, maxillofacial, mandibular tumors, craniofacial anomalies, maxillary, and mandibular fractures, and facial trauma.

Speech therapy (sub-regional service): provides short-term therapy to restore a person to their highest level of physical, mental, and social usefulness possible and to assist those individuals to maintain that level of functioning as long sa they are able. The department provides speech therapy including, but not limited to: group teaching/lectures and speech language training. Laryngovideostroboscopy (LVS), swallowing evaluation inpatient and outpatient, neuro and post laryngeal treatment are provided in Speech Therapy.

Audiology (regional service): provides diagnostic testing; including audiometry, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), and Electrocochleography (ECOG) tests for hearing disorders, and Electronystagmography (ENG) for balance disorders. Also provides aural rehabilitation and counseling services.
