Hayward/Fremont Nephrology Department
The Hayward/Fremont Nephrology Staff is dedicated to providing you with high quality service and care. We specialize in kidney diseases as well as hypertension and electrolyte problems. If you have not received your family's copy of the Kaiser Permanente Healthwise Handbook, please stop in to one of our Health Education Libraries to obtain one. This is a handy book that has lots of useful information, and answers many of your questions about your family's health.

You can even refill medications with just a few clicks!

If you or any of your family members do not have a personal care provider, please call our Personal Physician Selection Service at 510-675-BOND(2663) and a specialist can help make the best choice for you. Alternatively, you can click here to select a new PCP online.

Between 5:00 PM and 8:30 AM and on weekends you may be referred to our regional call center at (510) 675-4010 which can make an appointment for you.

Getting Advice or Getting a Message to Your Provider
During office hours you may use these numbers:

After 5:00 PM, please use this number for both facilities: (510) 675-4010.
The phone advice person will answer your question, refer you to an advice nurse if medical advice is needed, or send a message to your provider. If your provider is available s/he will usually respond to your concern within the same day. If your provider is unavailable and the issue can be handled by one of his or her colleagues, s/he can usually respond to your concern on the same day.
Patients are seen on an appointment basis only. If you have a life threatening emergency, you should call 911 for assistance.
