Servicios de Interpretación

Welcome!

If you need an interpreter during your appointment, we can help. Our Kaiser Permanente Richmond Medical Center provides interpreter services for our members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no extra cost.

You can request an interpreter in one of four ways:

  1. Request an interpreter when you schedule your next appointment
  2. When you are checking in for your visit please inform the receptionist that you would like an interpreter to be present during your visit
  3. If you are hospitalized, contact the nursing supervisor who can make arrangements for an interpreter
  4. If you are speech/hearing impaired, call 711 (TTY) or (510) 307-2627 (TTY)

Language interpretation is available by telephone.
Telephone interpretation is always available - even on short notice.
We can also set up a telephone call with you, your practitioner, and an interpreter.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with the interpreter or speech/hearing-impaired services?
Visit our Member Services on the 1st Floor of building C, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
or call (800) 464-4000.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
