THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IS OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK

The Emergency Department provides medical care to all patients in need of immediate attention. Our skilled and caring team includes physicians, registered nurses, technicians, and clerical/ reception staff.

A registered nurse will assess your medical needs and assign you to a treatment room as quickly as possible. Top priority is given to individuals with life-threatening conditions. Patients with less serious conditions are seen as soon as possible. To avoid long waiting times, non-emergency problems are better served in the Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, and Women’s Health Departments.

The Manteca Medical Offices Adult Medicine and Pediatrics offers appointment on:

Monday to Friday

  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Regular office appointments
  • 5:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Telephone appointment visits and physician-directed clinic appointments* available

Weekends and Holidays

  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Telephone appointment visits and physician-directed clinic appointments* available

* Please note: Appointments from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, and all appointments on weekends and holidays MUST BE scheduled during a telephone appointment with one of our physicians and are only available at the following locations:
-> Modesto Medical Offices – 4601 Dale Rd., Modesto, 4th floor, Ste. 4A6. Driving Directions.
-> Stockton Medical Offices – 7373 West Lane, Stockton, 1st floor, Ste. 145. Driving Directions.

The Manteca Medical Offices Women’s Health Department offers appointment on:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 1:30–5:30 p.m.
  • By appointment only.

Our goal is to provide quality care to all patients in the Emergency Department, treat you with courtesy and respect, and assure that you have access to follow-up medical care after you are discharged from the Emergency Department.

Co-payment for services is expected at the time of treatment. The level of your co-payment is determined by the health plan. The emergency department does not determine how much co-payment you will pay, although we are obligated to ask for it. We strive to deliver the same excellent care and service to all our patients regardless of the level of their co-payment or their ability to pay.

Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente Central Valley as your health care of choice.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
