The Spine Clinic at the Vallejo Medical Center provides diagnosis and treatment plans for people with complex spine conditions. The most common conditions that we see are spinal stenosis and herniated discs. But regardless of the specific condition, we always recommend more exercise, because countless research studies have shown that exercise can reduce pain symptoms and improve function. We also emphasize weight loss, quitting tobacco, and pursuing treatment for stress and depression for those patients who use tobacco, are overweight, or are stressed out or depressed. These interventions are by far the most effective ones for chronic pain from the spine.
We have three full time Spine Clinic physicians - Dr. Peter Boorstein, Dr. Linda Choe, and Dr. Ralph Crisostomo. We also have two physicians who are part time in the Spine Clinic - Dr. Alexander Reynoso and Dr. Douglas Brozell.
