HIV/AIDS Resources & Counseling (HARC)

The HIV/AIDS Resources & Counseling (HARC) Department now offers STD as well as HIV Testing and has Expanded Test Hours.

The HIV/AIDS Resources and Counseling Department (HARC) offers confidential HIV & Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing for all members.

Laboratory authorizations now include: HIV Antibody Test, HIV2 Antibody Test, Hepatitis A, B and C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.

HARC staff do not examine physical symptoms nor make diagnoses. Treatment for infection is referred to providers.

Members requesting STD testing may be directed to HARC at the times listed below. No provider referrals are required.

HARC has also expanded their hours for HIV consent pre-test meetings. New meeting hours are Wednesday at 12:30 pm, Wednesday at 6:00 pm and Thursday at 6:00 pm. No appointments are required to attend, but members should be at the meetings at the times specified above. Sessions are held in the HARC department conference room adjacent to the #464 offices.
