Hayward/Fremont Pediatrics Department

The Hayward/Fremont Pediatric Staff is dedicated to providing you and your child high quality service and care. We look forward to meeting you and your child at our clinic. If you have not received your family's copy of the HEALTHWISE HANDBOOK, please stop in to one of our Health Education Libraries to obtain one. This is a handy book that has lots of useful information, and answers many of your questions about your family's health.

NEW ADDITION TO KAISER PERMANENTE: THE FREMONT PEDIATRIC MEDICAL GROUP!

The Fremont Pediatric Medical Group (FPMG) has joined Kaiser Permanente GSAA as of January 1, 2008. FPMG has served three generations of children in Fremont and the surrounding communities since 1968. The eight physicians, all Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics, speak Spanish, Hindi, Marathi, French and Italian and will continue to practice under Kaiser Permanente from their current medical offices (Fremont West) located a few miles from the Fremont Medical Center at 43971 Boscell Road near the Fremont Automall and the Pacific Commons Center.

Accessing Care in Pediatrics

Making an Appointment

  • To make an appointment in the pediatrics department at the Fremont Campus: Call (510) 795-3050.
  • To make an appointment in the pediatrics department at the Hayward Campus: Call (510) 675-4050.
  • Between 10:30 PM and 7:30 AM and on weekends, you may be referred to our regional call center, which can make an appointment for you.

Getting Advice or Getting a Message to Your Provider

  • Fremont Pediatrics: Call (510) 795-3050.
  • Hayward Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine: Call (510) 675-4050.
  • The phone advice person will answer your question, refer you to an advice nurse if medical advice is needed, or send a message to your provider. If your provider is available, he or she will usually respond to your concern within the same day. If your provider is unavailable and the issue can be handled by one of his or her colleagues, he or she will usually respond to your concern on the same day.

Patients are seen on an appointment basis only. If you have a life threatening emergency, you should call 911 for assistance. If you have an urgent condition, contact us at (510) 795-3050 or (510) 675-4050. We will assist you in determining if your child should be seen in the pediatric clinic or the Emergency Room.
