WELCOME TO OUR DEPARTMENT

Welcome to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department. We provide outpatient consultation and rehabilitation to members with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including spinal cord injuries, sports injuries, and physical disabilities associated with stroke.

OUR STAFF

Our physicians have the training and experience to care for a wide range of problems. They work collaboratively with primary care providers, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other medical center experts. Additionally they work in conjuncture with our Acupuncture and Spine Clinic departments. All members of our staff are dedicated to providing you with quality care tailored to your specific needs.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

New or first time patients are seen by referral from your personal physician or nurse practitioner. Your first visit to our department will involve a thorough medical history and physical examination. Please make sure we receive copies of all records or x-rays taken at other facilities that pertain to your current problem. You may also bring documents to your appointment or mail them to us well in advance.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
