I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and grew up in Denver, Colorado. After completing a Bachelors degree in biology and chemistry at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, I went to Stanford University, where I earned my medical degree and completed my residency training in plastic surgery. I have been associated with Kaiser Permanente since 1999.

Practice Philosphy

As a plastic surgeon, I specialize in surgical reconstruction, hand surgery, and cosmetic surgery. I enjoy plastic surgery because it allows me to make a difference in people’s lives. I believe in service, humility, integrity, and compassion. I treat patients as if they were members of my own family. Working at Kaiser Permanente allows me to devote my full attention to the care of my patients.

Personal Information

My wife and I and our five children have been very happy to be a part of the Fresno community since 2004. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer, mountain biking, running, reading, cooking, and speaking some Spanish and German.
