Welcome to my Home Page. This site contains information about me and the conditions I treat.
I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and grew up in Denver, Colorado. After completing a Bachelors degree in biology and chemistry at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, I went to Stanford University, where I earned my medical degree and completed my residency training in plastic surgery. My wife and I and our three children have been very happy to be a part of the Fresno community since 2004. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, working around the house, camping, skiing, enjoying movies, and speaking some Spanish and German.
Practice Philosphy
As a plastic surgeon, I specialize in surgical reconstruction, hand surgery, and cosmetic surgery. I love plastic surgery because it allows me to make a difference in people’s lives. Because I believe in service, humility, integrity, and compassion, I treat patients as if they were members of my own family.
I have been associated with Kaiser Permanente since 1999 and I joined Kaiser Permanente in Fresno in 2004. I love working at Kaiser Permanente because it allows me to devote my full attention to the care of my patients

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
