My Biography

I had heard that Kaiser Permanente was a good place to work through word of mouth, and I have been quite satisfied with my decision to join the Kaiser medical team. I find working here to be good for keeping abreast of cutting-edge developments. Patients benefit from the comprehensive care model in a number of ways, including continuity of service and physician accessibility. Referrals to specialists are simple to implement since we are all in the same system. With the advent of Health Connect, our state-of-the-art electronic medical charting system, providers have full access to a patient’s complete medical history.

In the Physical Medicine and Spine Clinic, my colleagues are great to work with; we share a terrific sense of camaraderie. Our staff is always upbeat and they serve as a good support network. I enjoy a lot of autonomy with regard to the way I conduct my practice. I don’t encounter a host of restrictions when doing work-ups for patients. My areas of special interest are in sports medicine and neuromuscular injuries and diseases. I keep abreast of innovations and new ideas in my field by attending the annual American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation conference and other pertinent medical continuing education conferences throughout the year.

Outside of work, my hobbies include an avid interest in international politics and travel. Over the past two years, I have traveled to South Africa, Zambia, Cambodia, and Thailand. I THRIVE by working out at the gym almost every day and maintaining a fairly regimented dietary plan, all of which helps me to keep my energy up throughout the day. I have always been a health nut!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
