My Biography

I started working at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco as an educator for the perioperative department, helping patients in the Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Unit, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. After completing my Nurse Practitioner degree, I decided to continue to work here in the Pre-Operative Clinic.

I see a variety of patients in my work, which is challenging and enjoyable. I like answering patients’ questions about what is going to happen in their surgery and making people feel comfortable. We offer information and videos on Preparing for a Successful Surgery and other relevant topics. The integration of the system at Kaiser allows me to find out results of procedures and tests easily. Our Anesthesia Department is full of excellent professionals; working in this department is a pleasure.

I’m married with a school-aged son. In my spare time, I volunteer at school, and participate in outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and walking our dog.
