My Biography

I am an internist. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003 and enjoy practising medicine here. Working at Kaiser Permanente, I have the freedom to practice medicine for my patient's best interest. I do not need to call insurance company for approval. I have excellent associates to work with and very helpful staff. The specialists are always available to help. We also have strong academic environment, which keeps our physicians' knowledge up to date. With all of above, we offer our members quality care.

If you are my patient, I would like you to participate the management plan. Preventive medication is the most important part of medicine. Please come in for health check up, have your screening tests done, and follow up as instructed. Please eat healthy, exercise regularly, avoid overweight and quit smoking. Kaiser offers many excellent classes for our members, please take advantage of those classes.

I was born and raised in China and speak fluent Mandarin. I am married and have two children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and playing volleyball.

Please see credentials for information about my education and training.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
