International Travel Information

For international* travel vaccinations, prescriptions and advice, contact San Rafael Medical Center's Travel Department: (415) 482-6763

A Registered Nurse will conduct a telephone consultation to assess risk, review your immunization history and make recommendations about necessary vaccines, precautions and prescriptions appropriate for your destination.

The Travel Nurse will also schedule vaccination appointments as needed at Kaiser Petaluma, Novato, Terra Linda or San Rafael-downtown.

Please call at least 4 weeks prior to your departure.

When calling the Travel Department, please be prepared to provide:

  • Names of all travelers
  • Medical record number for each traveler
  • Nations you will visit
  • Departure and return dates

*At this time - no need to call for trips to Canada, Western Europe, Japan, New Zealand or Australia.
