My Biography

The diversity of the patient case load drew me to Kaiser Permanente. I enjoy working with the Chinese population. My co-workers create a truly collegial atmosphere within this department; we try to help one another. This is a great learning environment with a longstanding reputation.

Kaiser features excellent communication within our interwoven system. The Health Connect initiative facilitates contact with other providers across disciplines. All providers can access the full spectrum of a patient’s medical record.

For me, the greatest satisfaction in my work comes from seeing patients recover. My areas of special interest include pediatrics, orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and neurological rehabilitation. I see patients on a one-on-one basis, and I teach a knee rehabilitation class and a back class.

Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, running, hiking, snowboarding, and dining out. I like to travel, and have visited South Korea and hiked the Inca Trail in Peru. I THRIVE by working out at a gym, watching what I eat, and drinking plenty of water. I enjoy taking care of my two miniature dachshunds.
