My Practice Philosophy

I strive to treat every patient as though I am treating a member of my own family.

About Me

I was born in Atlanta Georgia, but raised and spent the majority of my life in the bay area.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology from the University of California in 1977. I worked in a laboratory for several years. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Hayward State University in 1986. I earned my Masters of Science degree in nursing and my nurse practitioner certificate from California State University, Domingues Hills in 2000.

After completion of my undergraduate studies, I worked in the Emergency Department at Kaiser Santa Clara from 1986 until 2000. I joined our Kaiser Mountain View offices in early 2001.

My Interests

My medical interests include dermatology and diabetes as several family members have diabetes. When not attending to my busy medical practice, I enjoy reading, exercising, investing, and spending time with my daughters, Brianna and Jessica.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
