Greetings!

Welcome to my home page. I am/will be happy to be your physician in the department of Psychiatry, here at Mountain View. I want to reassure you that we here at Kaiser and in the department of Psychiatry are committed to providing high quality service in accordance to the cutting edge treatment guidelines.

My Practice Philosophy:

I believe that I am the patients advocate and aim to provide high quality evidence based care. My goal is to achieve good mental health and prevent disease. I am a firm believer in wellness and preventative care through nutrition, exercise and a healthy life style.

About Me:

I was born and raised in India. I have been in the United States since 1972.

I completed Residency program at Mental Health Institute in Cherokee, Iowa.

Before joining Kaiser in August of 1994, I had about 20 years of clinical experience treating psychiatric disorders for adults in different settings (i.e. the VA in Menlo Park/Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara and an independent practice in the community).

How To Reach Me:

Currently the easiest way to contact me is by voice mail which directly reaches my office rather than the reception desk. The number is (650) 903-2851. I will get back to you generally by the end of the day or at the latest by the next day.

After business hours 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., you can reach the Regional Call Center by calling the reception number at (650) 903-2850. The call center is staffed by trained mental health professionals who can help you if you cannot wait to get in touch with me the next day.

You can also e-mail me through my home page, as well.

Lastly, in case you don't already know it you can order your medication refill through the mail or the internet. Each of your medication bottle has a zero refill number listed or you can use the Pharmacy link at [urg http://www.members.kp.org/ memberskp.org].

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
