My name is Emmeline Dumuk Abellera and I am your nurse practitioner. As a registered nurse practitioner, I will provide appointments to you for wellness education, disease prevention and care for conditions such as anemia, hypertension, muscle strains and thyroid problems.

About Me

I obtained my Master of Nursing Degree at Loyola University, Chicago, IL followed by my Family Nurse Practitioner Program at University of California, Davis. My medical interests include preventive health care and women’s health. I joined Kaiser Permanente since 2000.

Besides English, I am also fluent in Ilocano and Tagalog.

I am privileged to work with a highly skilled group of health care professionals, all of whom are located together on my unit. Depending on your needs, I call upon my colleagues to assist and advise me on delivering to you the best medical care possible. Besides physicians and another nurse practitioner, my team members include registered nurses who provide care for minor illnesses such as bronchitis, sore throats, ear and eye infections, bladder infections and flu symptoms. I also work with a physical therapist who can help with muscle and bone problems, as well as a clinical health educator who will provide you with direct health education, information and counseling for conditions such as weight management, exercise, diet, diabetes care, and smoking cessation.
