About Me

Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente Richmond Medical Center. I am one of the physicians in the Department of Pediatrics.

I chose to practice at the Kaiser Richmond facility because the staff is dedicated, family-like, and terrific at what they do. I was drawn to the diverse community in Richmond as well as the excellent, comprehensive care that this facility offers its members.

What I like most about my job are the kids and their families, including the adorable stories and smiles that I receive every day. I consider it an honor to participate in the lives of children. I also speak some Cambodian.

When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy swimming, camping, and traveling, but spending time with my family is what I enjoy most of all. I also volunteer my time at homeless shelters and my children’s school, sports, and music activities.

I look forward to working with you and answering any questions you may have regarding your child’s health issues.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
