How to Use My Home Page...

My Biography

I enjoy working in Cardiology because this is a field where I can observe patients’ progress throughout the continuum of care, from when patients are symptomatic through post-surgery. I enjoy the immediate gratification of seeing patients improve. In my line of work, I can truly impact someone’s quality of life.

Our department serves as a liaison to Bay Area physicians. We provide care for patients who have been seen in Oakland’s Summit Care Center, or in San Francisco. Kaiser Permanente doctors are specialty-based, and they are not in the business for financial incentives. Because of the lack of such incentives, our providers can focus on delivering efficacious care. For example, they verify that patients can afford their prescriptions.

As an ACNP, I serve as the catalyst for patients to begin receiving care. I keep current with the latest developments concerning heart failure. I love interacting with patients and educating them about everything from heart health to pain and symptom management. Within Kaiser Permanente’s integrated health care model, I am able to practice my craft autonomously.

I THRIVE by drinking plenty of water, walking, and patronizing farmers markets. I am a new mother who enjoys scrapbooking and beadwork. I devote a large amount of my leisure time to quilting. I am married with a newborn son. I look forward to welcoming you to our medical center.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
