My Biography

I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area., and by the time I came to Kaiser Permanente I had already been living in San Francisco since 1981. Kaiser’s health care system provides an integrated and cost-effective manner of health care. Within this model, I have the freedom to make decisions about treatment without worrying about insurance matters or the patient’s ability to pay. Our providers deliver high-quality care in an efficient environment. I think that the best aspect of the Kaiser Permanente health care system is the excellent standard and delivery of care. I appreciate the fact that we are all members.

I really enjoy the wonderful patients with whom I work. I like our highly-skilled colleagues who are truly dedicated to patient care. I appreciate the approach of working with patients in language-specific modules, one of Kaiser’s many unique resources benefiting patients. I serve as the Anxiety Team Leader for the San Francisco Medical Center. I have done research on PTSD. I also specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

When I am away from work, I enjoy skateboarding, boogie boarding, dancing, reading, and listening to salsa music. I thrive by exercising on a regular basis, and also through laughter! I look forward to meeting you at San Francisco Medical Center.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
