My Biography

At Kaiser Permanente, we offer a truly professional staff and outstanding patient care. Our all-in-one health care model is a unique and beneficial aspect of our medical center. Patients have ready access to a wide range of providers. They do not need to reach outside of the system to obtain referrals, complete lab work, or pick up their prescriptions. Our technology resources abound and are state-of-the-art. For example, members can refill prescriptions or review their laboratory results online. Members may also contact their provider in confidence using the Secure Messaging feature. With the advent of Health Connect, Kaiser Permanente’s electronic medical charting tool, providers have access to a patient’s complete medical history in an instant.

In the Psychiatry department, my colleagues are supportive and dedicated to patients. We focus not only on helping people improve their lives and get better, but also on prevention. Kaiser Permanente offers a true health plan not just a “sick plan.”

I enjoy working with my clientele. They present interesting, challenging cases. Although I have a broad background in my field, my area of special interest is adult psychiatry. I keep active and well through healthy eating, regular exercise, and plenty of rest. We in the Psychiatry department are committed to making your visit experience a positive one.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
